Elisa and MLL Co operation
The Mannerheim  Child Welfare and Elisa have joined forces to improve the digital well-being of young people. Through a multi-year partnership, the goal is to help children and adolescents use their smart devices wisely and safely.
Elisa supports the "Digitutkijat" (Digital Researchers) project, which is initiated and funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation and implemented by the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare. The Digitutkijat project includes media education and digital well-being workshops designed for fourth graders, aiming to reach 75% of Finnish primary and comprehensive schools.
Additionally, the collaboration will include various informational bulletins, events, and campaigns centered around digital well-being for both young people and their parents. The voices of young people will be heard through various jointly conducted surveys. The collaboration around smartwatch phones will also continue; Elisa will donate 5 euros to the Mannerheim League for each children's smartwatch phone sold. This amount will support, among other things, the Children's and Youth's Phone and Chat services.
Elisa is a pioneer in telecommunications, digital services, and technologies. Elisa provides responsible and sustainable solutions to over 2.8 million consumer, corporate, and public administration customers in Finland and Estonia, as well as internationally in over 100 countries.
Elisa's mission is a sustainable future through digitalization.
We want children to live in a sustainable world now and in the future. That is why our collaboration with the Mannerheim League for the welfare of children, adolescents, and families is very important to us.
